David Jordan - Company PMI / Group Risk
David joined IHC in 2001 following eighteen years underwriting at Lloyds' of London and two years with BUPA as a field based marketing and sales advisor. This long career in Insurance has given David an in-depth exposure to all aspects of the insurance industry which he now uses to great effect when advising clients on all aspects of insured employee benefits. David leads a successful team of seven from his office in South East Cornwall.
Louise Mitch - Business Associate
Louise joined IHC in July 2004 as a Business Associate to aid David Jordan in the setting up of the Callington office.
Louise came to IHC with over 10 years of insurance experience, and her past employers include Aegon and Norwich Union.
Primarily, Louise now specializes in Group Risk and assists David in looking after a large portfolio of clients based all around the UK
Karen Wood - Business Associate
I joined IHC after moving to the West Country, having lived in Berkshire for many years. Prior to IHC I worked in Event Management and Finance for many years, so Private Medical Insurance in a change of direction for me.
I am studying with the CII, planning to gain qualifications over the coming years
Amanda DeWinnaar - Business Associate
Amanda moved to the UK from South Africa in 2005 and joined IHC in April 2006.
Whilst in South Africa she worked for the Medi-Clinic Group handling claims for private medical insurance schemes, which involved liaison between patients, insurers and hospital practitioners.
Amanda's current activities are focused primarily on Group Life, Income Protection and Critical Illness schemes, where she provides clerical and sales support to the Callington based team.
Sandra Vaughan - Business Associate
Sandra started work with IHC on a part-time basis in November 2007, having previously been employed by UNUM Provident for five years as a Sales Consultant. Prior to joining UNUM, Sandra worked for Zurich's IFA arm as their Employee Benefits Consultant and prior to that for two other Corporate IFA's, where she dealt with new and existing clients. Her demonstrable commitment to the Employee Benefits arena has resulted in her achieving a detailed understanding of the subject. Sandra is married and has a young daughter.
Claire Stanton - Business Associate
Clare came to IHC with strong business experience and has adapted well to the FSA regulated world of general insurance.
Clare won the IHC employee award for outstanding contribution this year.
Tony Dart
Tony joined IHC Ltd in April 2008, after having worked for Barclays for many years in varying roles, providing solutions to client’s insurance and banking needs. Tony is responsible for advising personal private medical insurance clients, which he achieves by constantly reviewing the available market and dealing with insurers on clients behalf.
