IThe 2008/09/10 recession is forcing every business to look hard at its costs and insurance is no exception.  For many years, we have provided a life assurance death-in-service benefit to all our employees, which, if we were to move life insurer in Spring 2009, would give us indicative savings of circa 40%, based on IHC’s market research and recommendation.

Having decided to move, we then ran straight into significant documentation problems – not least, we could not locate the original trust deed.  We therefore had, in very short order, to raise a new trust deed (along with numerous application forms) as well as registering the new scheme with HM Revenue & Customs to satisfy the new insurer.

IHC, in the persons of David Jordan and Sandra Vaughan, performed admirably, displaying in-depth technical and practical knowledge of how to get what done when by whom.  They well deserved the thank you they received from us – and the saving came in at just over 45%!
