Abigail Quartey, recently joined the team as an account executive focusing on healthcare solutions for our SME clients. Prior to IHC, Abigail worked as a health and protection consultant for employee benefits intermediary, Towergate.
What attracted you to working for IHC?
I was attracted to IHC by the warm welcome at my interview and also the low staff turnover rate.
What are your top three priorities over the next 6-12 months?
To get to know and understand my clients more. To work closer with insurers and to get accustomed to the IHC way.
What would make your working day easier?
To be honest, I feel well supported and I am really enjoying working at IHC so can’t think of anything to make my working day easier for now.
What would make your working day easier?
If I could have more hours in the day! But failing that I have found that new technology such as Skype calls and Facetime has been really helpful in enabling me to be in three places at once!
What do you like most about working in this industry?
I like getting to interact with various stakeholders, understanding their needs and being able to offer appropriate solutions.
If you could have any job in the world, what would it be?
A motivational speaker.
What mantra or motto do you live by?
If you want something, don’t be afraid to ask. The worst they can say is no.

My son.
