Product in focus: Canada Life launches
Employee Care app
Canada Life has unveiled a brand new app, EmployeeCare, which will be available from January 2019 for Group Income Protection (GIP) clients. EmployeeCare will provide a total wellbeing solution by bundling employee assistance, discounts and analytics all into a simple to use app.
Canada Life has announced that it will make the new app available to new GIP clients from January 2019 and for existing clients as they renew from January 2019 onwards.
In addition to the EAP currently available to GIP clients, new value added services accessed through the app will include more than 1000 perks, helping employees to save up to £1,928 per year as well as discounted cinema tickets. Employers will also benefit from enhanced functionality that enables them to track usage and savings, providing valuable insights into employee behaviour and trends.
IHC has taken this a step further, enhancing the GIP package by securing mental health training exclusively for IHC clients.
“The existing EAP offering, combined with the new app and mental health training will ensure that our clients have the right benefits in place to better support health and wellbeing at work in 2019,” said Paul Roberts, senior consultant at IHC.
Based on its longstanding relationship with IHC, Canada Life will has additionally agreed to provide existing GIP clients (with over 100 employees) with access to the perks and savings from January 2019, rather than having to wait until renewal.
