Nick Lipczynski
Managing Director
Founded IHC in 1992 with the objective of providing quality independent advice, and as a result has seen the company grow to its current size and status. IHC is first in a number of its selected marketplaces much down to the determination and sales experience of Nick driving the business. Nick gained experience with Gartmore Fund Managers and Bupa as National Sales Manager prior to establishing IHC. He is an MBA graduate and brings a relaxed and empathetic style to his wide range of clients.

Mark Satchell
Director
Mark is a senior member of the team at IHC working with corporate clients in the UK. His experience of health insurance matters span 20 years. Prior to joining IHC, Mark held positions in a fast growth insurance company and Bupa too. Mark’s expertise offers unparalleled experience of the UK health insurance market to the benefit of new and existing clients.

Gemma Milford
Head of Group Health
Gemma Milford looks after a substantial portfolio of UK and Offshore clients, order specialising in employee wellbeing solutions. Whilst the focus of Gemma’s work is advising on private medical insurance schemes, Gemma works with clients to provide a wider range of health and wellbeing benefits to include dental insurance, health screening and cash plans, and employee assistance programmes.With a diverse and unique portfolio to include Offshore Islands, Gemma is proud to be able to offer a unique insight and advice on the different needs and requirements of offshore health insurance.Gemma enjoys building strong professional relationships with her clients to ensure that IHC’s advice and benefit solutions remain fresh, independent and tailored to each client’s needs.

Paul Roberts
Senior Consultant
Paul works with a corporate client portfolio that spans large and small organisations, charities to City institutions. His knowledge of the market, its products and services brings a wealth of experience and expertise to deliver real business benefits for IHC clients. Paul uses a staged process to design, build and buy that creates unique contemporary solutions at the right price. Paul actively works at improving the private health market by advising insurers and participating in industry forums for the benefit of his customers.

Jacqueline Wallder
Managing Consultant
Jacqueline has worked in the healthcare industry since 1990 starting out at Bupa. In 1995 Jacqueline joined IHC head office in London as a business development assistant to support several consultants in the day to day management of their portfolios. 7 years on in 2002, Jacqueline helped set up the Billericay office and became a business consultant growing her own portfolio of private medical and dental insurance clients which she continues to do so today.

Bernice Price
Senior Sales Consultant
Bernice offers all her clients expert advice and exceptional account management. She is a specialist consultant in Mental Health and a qualified Therapeutic Counsellor for workplace coaching. These additional skills enable Bernice to fully engage and empathise with her client’s challenges and offer robust and practical solutions in all aspects of their employee health and wellbeing. In addition, Bernice provides training and development support to all the IHC Consultants.

Jayne Scott
Employee Benefits Consultant
Jayne has a vast amount of experience, over 15 years dealing in the large corporate world. Jayne’s career in healthcare began at Bupa, where she built up a very successful portfolio of clients and established herself as a leading healthcare professional. Jayne’s drive to offer clients their own tailored solution and matching their needs is first class. She is held in exceptionally high regard by clients, developing a high level of trust and respect. Her knowledge of the market place and all health related aspects allows Jayne to offer new and existing clients unrivalled advice and provides them with real business benefits and payback for their investment.

Tracy Hazelgrave
Consultant
I started as most people do in the industry with Bupa in 1989. I worked in the Leeds office as a researcher and then was promoted a month later to development assistant. I had an opportunity to transfer to Bupa’s Barnet office working in Intermediary Sales. I left Bupa in 1992 and moved to Bowring Healthcare as an internal co-ordinator until 1999. I was approached by the Healthcare Manager of HSBC Actuaries & Consultants Ltd (HACL) to join them as a Healthcare Consultant until the end of March 2010, which is the time HACL were bought out by JLT. I made the decision to take time out with my children and in November 2011 decided to join a specialist adviser, as my youngest child was only a year old, the firm allowed me to work part-time, as I wanted to ‘keep my hand in’ as I knew within the next few years I would be able to devote more time to my clients.

Norman Alongi
Consultant
Experienced Healthcare Adviser with over 15 years in the industry. Norman’s clients range from SME to companies looking for travel insurance for their employees. Normans enthusiasm to resolve issues and ensure his clients are kept happy is always on the forefront of his daily duties – Norman now looks after a large portfolio and supports a number of senior consultants within IHC.

Chris Trevorah
Account Manager
By staying up to date with market trends and provider innovations, Chris delivers specialist private medical support and solutions for an extensive portfolio of schemes. With over 6 years’ experience within the health insurance industry, Chris’ knowledge includes usage of a wide range of products, providers and additional benefit offerings (including Dental and Cash Plans), that he utilises for both SME and Large corporate clients, ensuring their requirements are met.

John McGrath
Senior Consultant
An experienced health and wellness professional with strong commercial and customer focus. Driven to achieve the best possible results for my clients and business, I utilise strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to drive excellent outcomes. My year on year financial results, client retention figures and customer testimonials demonstrate a proven and sustained track record of delivery to both my clients and employer.
Karen Wood
Consultant
Karen started her employment with IHC Ltd in April 2005, having previously worked for a national Insurer in their pensions department. Karen is versed in both personal medical insurance schemes and Group Medical schemes for SME’s, and in this role ensures that all day-to-day administration is completed on behalf of clients as well as ensuring that guidance regarding renewals is in the possession of clients as early as possible each year.
The time spent in this role has ensured that Karen enjoys a detailed understanding of insurers and their products, which enables her to match the available schemes to each client’s specific needs. Her commitment to looking after clients, and the way in which she rapidly builds a rapport with them has resulted in an enviable retention rate.

Simon Porter
Healthcare Consultant
Simon has been with IHC since 2016 and utilises his experience and knowledge to identify a client’s bespoke healthcare scheme design.
He guides clients through the complex private medical insurance market and will deliver a tailored healthcare solution that suits their business needs and costs.
He is determined to provide a high standard of ongoing account management support to his clients throughout the year and during the annual renewal process.
He focuses on New Business and existing Private Medical Insurance schemes, Health CashPlans, Group Dental policies as well as Health Screenings and Employee Assistance Programmes.
Simon is known for his dedicated hard work ethic, resourcefulness and will endeavour to ensure that client satisfaction is maintained.

Salim Gani
Senior Consultant
Salim spent a decade as a graphic designer prior to changing direction into health care. He moved to Bupa where his experience and success won awards for top sales person.As a specialist adviser to personal clients Salim offers a unique service to his clients, many who have been with him since the beginning. He is dedicated to providing a high standard of service often visiting clients in far-flung regions sometimes late in the day.Salim has spearheaded the growth in internet-generated business for IHC to offer UK clients a professional healthcare service.

Sandra Stringer
Administrator
Sandra joined IHC in October 2004 as Administrator to Salim Gani dealing with the Individual PMI market, she is also responsible for supporting and maintaining the Individual Database.Prior to joining IHC Sandra worked for a company offering IT support across the Globe and was responsible for the their travel arranging, previously to this she spent 11 years in the Mortgage Industry in varying roles including PA and Office Manager.

Tim Clarke
Account Executive
Tim joined IHC as an Account Executive in IHC’s group health team after working for many years in client management roles.Working alongside IHC’s senior consulting team, Tim works to ensure that client requirements and expectations for renewal are met and delivered.

Dominic Hillier
Account Executive
Dominic has joined IHC with a wealth of experience in global and UK benefits. Dominic is part of IHC’s account management team and provides our clients with first class service whilst supporting our consulting team to achieve best in class outcomes for our clients.

Alice Parmar
Client Administrator
Alice has joined IHC to assist our consulting and account management team with the complex administration requirements of running successful benefit programmes. Alice joins us with many years of administration experience within the private and public sector. Alice also supports senior managers within IHC ensuring correspondence is dealt with during offsite meetings.

Sandra Vaughan
Head of Group Risk
Sandra started work with IHC in November 2007, having previously been employed by the largest group risk insurer for five years as a Sales Consultant. Prior to that, Sandra worked for an Independent Wealth Management company and two other Corporate IFA’s. Her demonstrable commitment to the Employee Benefits arena has resulted in her achieving a detailed understanding of the subject.

Philip Gregory
Senior Consultant
Philip works with a wide range of companies, to provide professional advice and deliver benefits strategies and programmes that best meet the needs of his clients. He is part of both the Consulting and UK Protection teams. With 20 years of industry experience, combined with a clinical and business background, Philip has a clear focus on what will work best from a company and employee perspective. He has a particular interest in how employee wellbeing can improve business performance.

Amy Thorpe
Consultant
Amy joined IHC in 2010 on a part-time basis to provide administrative and sales support for the team.. Since then she has since progressed to working as an Account Manager with her own portfolio of clients, which better utilises her skills and knowledge. Amy came to IHC having previously been employed by the largest group risk insurer with over 15 years of Income Protection and Life Assurance experience dealing mainly with claims and management. Her knowledge and experience provide a great base to complement the UK Protection team and ensure the smooth running of client policies.
Alison Clarke
Consultant
Alison has worked in the Risk Benefits market since 2000, working for a major group risk insurer for 4 years then moving onto IHC. Alison advises a wide range of clients delivering high quality advice and management to best suit her client’s requirements, ensuring that clients receive the maximum return on investment for the spend made on risk benefits.

John Tregear
Senior Claims and Technical Consultant
John is a specialist claims management expert for group income protection, life and critical illness insurance claims. Helping corporate customers to manage difficult and complex claims is a unique service offered by the IHC group risk team. His knowledge and experience adds considerable value to the service offered to clients.

Nazmi Khanom
Senior Account Executive
Nazmi joined IHC in 2013 having previously worked at the largest UK protection insuer for 5 years. She has gained valuable experience in pressurised environments whereby self-motivation, working on her own initiative and a positive response to pressure are essential. Nazmi has developed a comprehensive skill set within Group Risk, demonstrating an innovative and solution-focused approach. She uses the expertise and skills gained, to ensure that both SME and large corporate clients’ needs are met.

Hayley Sheehan
Account Executive and Claims Consultant
Having previously worked in the general insurance industry, Hayley transferred to Group Risk and provides claims management to clients, as well as supporting senior consultants on their portfolio of corporate clients. Having gained experienced in all the different Employee Benefits products available, and the additional services attached to each product, Hayley has developed an extensive knowledge and can now provide an end to end service making a difference in their provision of employee benefits.

Rob Fellows
Account Executive
Rob has recently joined the IHC group risk team having previously worked for Capita for 3 years. Rob has good knowledge and understanding of Flex schemes and will be dealing with the general administration processes to ensure clients’ needs are met.

Monika Khullar
Account Executive
Monika has recently joined the IHC group risk team having previously worked for Aston Lark, previously Lark Employee Benefits for 15 years. Having built up a good knowledge of the different benefits, she has the ability of those processes from start to finish. Monika provides clients with daily assistance and support in the handling of their Corporate Employee Benefit packages, in particular, assisting with the processing of annual renewals, medical underwriting, claims and general scheme enquiries.
Danny Wright
Account Executive
Danny joined IHC in 2018 and has over 25 years of experience in Financial Services, most recently working over 5 years with an Employee Benefits Broker as a Senior Employee Benefits Administrator. Danny has good knowledge and understanding of the whole Group Protection market including flexible benefits and pension.
Melanie Leader
Account Executive
Mel became a part of the IHC Group Protection team in 2020 and provides day to day support to the Consultants. She has previously worked with two Risk Insurers. She has the full skillset on working on all aspects of renewals to claims management as well as underwriting. Mel ensures that clients’ expectations and requirements are met and delivered in a timely manner.

David Heppard
Head of International
David is the Head of IHC’s International division and joined the company in 1997. His success has always been grounded in the principle that by offering his clients the widest range of plans from a broad and diverse group of insurers, he is able to find the most appropriate expatriate coverage and service, at the best rates. Prior to joining IHC, David held a multi-national role with Bupa International, working with joint ventures and agents for 5 years. Before that, at the BBC and Shell UK, David marketed brand name products and services around the world. David has first- hand experience of living and working as an expatriate. He lived in Dubai for 6 years and travelled extensively around the region on business. His multicultural knowledge brings a unique level of expertise to IHC’s International clients.

Alix Kading
Global Consultant
Having spent her formative years living as an expat in Holland, Hong Kong and Singapore, Alix is familiar with and understands the needs and requirements of her clients. She began her career in medical insurance at Bupa UK, initially working in member services and then sales. Alix joined IHC’s international division in 2001 looking after the individual client base but then moved across to work as an account manager for small to medium sized corporate clients.

Paul McKeon
Global Consultant
Paul joined IHC’s Global team in March 2018, having previously worked in several health insurance and employee benefits roles since 2006. Paul looks after the team’s individual portfolio, focussing on private medical and travel insurance products.

Laura supports the Global team to provide the highest level of customer service to the existing client base as well as business development support. Laura works closely alongside David to ensure that all client queries are dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Alexander has re-joined IHC to support our Global Team with various sales and client account management responsibilities within a complex International market. Alexander previously spent a year with IHC during his out-placement period at Portsmouth University, where he achieved a degree in Business Management.

Julie Bradley
Human Resources Consultant
A senior Human Resources Manager with over 20 years of hands-on experience as a Generalist within the media and financial sector. Extensive experience of high profile HR projects involving outsourcing and downsizing businesses.
Specialties: Risk awareness for employers - this includes reviewing and updating employee handbooks and policies and procedures in line with current legislation;
Coaching and career management - this includes helping individuals to realise their potential or to improve their performance
Ray Stibbards
Group Compliance Officer
Ray is an experienced compliance and risk consultant working actively in the insurance market with brokers, insurers and specialists alike. His personality and can-do attitude helps to make compliance a valuable resource that is embraced at IHC.

Lesley Lipczynski
Lesley is a health management consultant with a broad business background; her business experience, gained in both managerial and operational environments, gives her sharp insight into the commercial imperatives behind investment in employee health and wellbeing, as well as the costs of failure to manage workplace wellbeing effectively.
Deborah Goodman Stibbards
Audit and Compliance Director and Consultant
I am an experienced cross-class underwriter latterly in a HO role with specialism in commercial motor and property and several years working as a Financial Lines underwriter in the city.
