Phil Thorpe – Head of Group Risk – London
Phil joined IHC in 2004 having spent the previous six years with Unum. Using the experience and knowledge gained as a Senior Sales Consultant in Unum’s London Sales Office Phil is able to advise clients of all sizes on cost effective benefit solutions that support both employer and employee.
Sandra Vaughan – Group Risk Senior Consultant
Sandra started work with IHC in November 2007, having previously been employed by UNUM for five years as a Sales Consultant. Prior to joining UNUM, Sandra worked for Zurich Independent Wealth Management and Zurich IFA as well as two other Corporate IFA’s. Her demonstrable commitment to the Employee Benefits arena has resulted in her achieving a detailed understanding of the subject.
Amy Thorpe – Consultant
Amy joined IHC in April 2010 on a part-time basis to provide administrative and sales support for Philip Thorpe. Since then she has since progressed to working as an Account Manager with her own portfolio of clients, which better utilises her skills and knowledge. Amy came to IHC having previously been employed by UNUM with over 15 years of Income Protection and Life Assurance experience dealing mainly with claims and management.
Her knowledge and experience provide a great base to complement the London Group Risk Team and ensure the smooth running of client policies.
Alison Clarke – Consultant
Alison has worked in the Risk Benefits market since 2000, working for Legal & General for 4 years then moving onto IHC.
Alison advises a wide range of clients delivering high quality advice and management to best suit her client’s requirements, ensuring that clients receive the maximum return on investment for the spend made on risk benefits.
John Tregear – Senior Claims and Technical Consultant
John is a specialist claims management expert for group income protection, life and critical illness insurance claims.
Helping corporate customers to manage difficult and complex claims is a unique service offered by the IHC group risk team. His knowledge and experience adds considerable value to the service offered to clients.
Nazmi Khanom – Senior Account Executive
With 5 years’ experience in the Group Risk Insurance market prior to joining IHC, Nazmi thrives on a busy environment and providing outstanding customer service. She uses the expertise and skills gained to ensure that both SME and large corporate clients’ needs are met and support provided to the Group Risk consultants.
Hayley Sheehan – Senior Executive Manager
Having previously worked in the general insurance industry, Hayley transferred to the Group Protection side dealing with general administration and the day to day claims handling process to ensure clients’ needs are met.
Rob Fellows – Account Executive
Rob has recently joined the IHC group risk team having previously worked for Capita for 3 years. Rob has good knowledge and understanding of Flex schemes and will be dealing with the general administration processes to ensure clients’ needs are met.
